We had a very challenging subfloor situation that turned into a much bigger project than originally expected. But Mark (the owner) personally stepped in, took responsibility, and completely turned the project around.
Despite their busy schedule, his brother came out consistently to properly prep the slab, pour self-leveling compound, waterproof with epoxy, install a vapor barrier, and then install the flooring. The prep took much longer than planned, but throughout the process Mark communicated honestly and, most importantly, honored his original word.
When it came time for the baseboards, Mark came himself on the weekend because he wanted to make sure they were done correctly. He stayed until everything was complete and made sure we were satisfied before leaving.
What impressed me most was his integrity. He was open about what went wrong initially, made changes to his team after our project, and treated this job as a learning experience to improve how he runs his business. We plan to hire him again for another project and would confidently recommend Top Notch Floors!
